Local Missions

Our Deacons manage a benevolence budget for people in our church and community who need a hand up when life knocks them down.

We support the Christian Family Center with non perishable food and monetary donations.

We support the Florida Baptist Children’s homes with a percentage of our budget and with seasonal gifts and visits.

We Support the Pinellas Crisis Pregnancy Center (Pro-life/evangelistic organization) with a percentage of our budget giving.

We host Paint Your Heart Out Safety Harbor @ our facility every year, and provide breakfast and lunch for volunteers.

We parcticipate in Carefest through Someone Cares Tampa Bay by doing home repairs for elderly, homebound and other needs based individuals or families.

We cooperate with the Suncoast Baptist Association with a percentage  of our budget.  See the website under our links listings.

Our Children’s Ministry does a Halloween food collection mission every year to support our local food bank.

Our youth collect soaps/shampoos and other supplies for the homeless shelters.

We join our local shools and organizations to collect backpacks and school supplies for children who need them.

We were the founding church for and sponsor Good News Club at Safety Harbor Elementary School.

We conduct a free Vacation Bible School each year.

State/National Missions

We have individuals trained through the Florida Disaster Relief to respond to disasters across the U.S.

We Support the cooperative program of the Southern Baptist Convention through our gifts to the Florida Baptist Convention. (These funds help support missionaries stationed in every nation and most people groups across the world, they help offset expenses of seminary training for Pastoral staff and other church workers, they help subsidize church plant efforts and a multitude of other mission efforts from the state to international level.

We have taken evangelistic mission trips to Alabama, Tennessee, the Philippines, Brazil, Honduras, and to Cuba.

Also, we give hundreds of shoe boxes full of toys and other needed items to children across the world through Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.
